Paul and Frances Stone founded Stonewood Farm, on six hundred acres, in 1976 and have been raising all natural turkeys since 1987. Today, Stonewood Farm is the largest turkey producer in Vermont! Our delicious fresh turkeys and products are enjoyed by thousands in New England and beyond. Pictured at right our Paul and Frances' four grown children. Peter lives and works on the farm with his wife Siegrid and son Nathan. Nancy and her husband Sean own Oak Hill Stables near Roanoke, Virginia, a 74 acre horse farm offering boarding, training and instruction. Matthew is a Firefighter in St. Augustine, Florida. Daniel lives in Harper's Ferry, West Virginia and is a successful luxury home carpenter who specializes in custom finish work.
Like any modern family farm, Stonewood Farm raises more than just delicious turkeys. We also board nearly five hundred heifers year round, and farm hundreds of acres of cropland.
